BRITAIN. Belgae. Uninscribed, circa 65-40 BC. Stater (Electrum, 18 mm, 6.09 g), Chute type (British B). Devolved head of Apollo to right. Rev. Disjointed horse to left; ‘crab’ below; above tail, elongated pellet within elliptical ornament, three tiny dots in line below; pellets around. ABC 746. SCBC 22. Van Arsdell 1205-1 (Durotriges). Some edge weakness and a few light marks and scratches, otherwise, very fine.

This issue has been reattributed to the Belgae from the Durotrigues by ABC based on site finds, noting that all examples have come from the Hampshire area, and none from the region inhabited by the Durotrigues.
